  • What do I need to play Challenger baseball?

    • Baseball glove
    • Running shoes or baseball cleats (no metal spikes)
    • Baseball batting helmet
    • Protective athletic support

  • What does the Challenger Schedule look like?
    •  2026 Season Dates: May 30 - August 15, 2026
    • No baseball  July 4th or August 1st (Long weekends)
      • Saturday May 30
      • Saturday June 6
      • Satruday June 13
      • Saturday June 20
      • Saturday June 27
      • Saturday July 11
      • Saturday July 18
      • Saturday July 25
      • Saturday August 8
      • Saturday August 15

 

  • When will I be contacted regarding the begining of the season and schedule
    • You will be contacted in Early May by one of our Challenger Committee members

  • How long does the season run?
    • The Challenger season runs from Opening Day in May/June until Mid August.

  • What does the registration fee cover?
The base registration fee covers the following:
    • Uniforms; including a jersey and a hat
    • Field costs
    • Equipment for the team, including baseballs, bats, bases
    • Team and individual pictures
    • End of year awards
    • Player & Coach Insurance

  • Where are the games played?

A: Challenger games will be played on Caledon first fully accessible diamonds at the Bolton Camp Location

  • What time do games begin?

A: All games will be played Saturday Mornings begining at 9:30am

  • What does my child need to play?
A: Your child requires a baseball glove, running shoes or baseball cleats (no metal spikes) a baseball helmet,
and protective athletic support.

  • I'm interested in coaching a Challenger team. How do I apply?

A: You can indicate your interest on the registration page when registering your child, or contact our Challenger Program Director.

  • I am unable to make a full-time commitment to coach a team because I work shifts... travel for business... etc. How can I still help?

A: We understand everyone's availability is different surrounding their volunteering as a coach. If you are unable to be the head coach due to potential scheduling conflicts,

you can still help as an assistant coach. Please indicate your interest on the registration form.
